Limoncello adds a vibrant citrus kick to the smooth, almond-rich amaretto, while fresh lemon juice and egg white create a silky, well-balanced texture. Sweet, tart, and luxuriously smooth, it’s a refreshing take on a beloved classic.

Limoncello Amaretto Sour Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 40ml amaretto
  • 25ml Iannetelli's limoncello
  • 20ml fresh lemon juice
  • 10ml simple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 1 egg white (or aquafaba for a vegan version)
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon twist and cherry (for garnish)

Instructions:

1. Add lemon juice, simple syrup, limoncello, amaretto, and egg white to a cocktail shaker.

2. Dry shake (without ice) for about 10 seconds to create a frothy texture.

3. Add ice and shake again for another 15 seconds until well chilled.

4. Strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice. For an extra smooth texture, double strain through a fine mesh strainer.

5. Garnish with a lemon twist and a cherry.
