The Lustro d’Oro (Golden Glow) is a luxurious and silky cocktail that blends the zesty brightness of limoncello with the crisp elegance of Sauvignon Blanc. Frangelico adds a subtle nutty depth, with fresh lemon juice creating a velvety texture. This is a refined, well-balanced drink with a golden touch.

To make a Lustro d’Oro, you’ll need:

  • Coupé or martini glass (chilled)
  • Cocktail shaker
  • Jigger (for measuring)
  • Strainer
  • Ice cubes
  • Fine mesh strainer (optional, for an extra smooth texture)

Ingredients

  • 40ml - limoncello
  • 60ml - Sauvignon Blanc
  • 20ml - Frangelico
  • 15ml - fresh lemon juice
  • egg white
  • Ice cubes

Garnish

  • Lemon zest or nutmeg (for garnish, optional)

Method

1. Add all ingredients (except ice) to a cocktail shaker and dry shake (without ice) for about 10 seconds to emulsify the egg white.

2. Add ice and shake again for another 15 seconds until well chilled.

3. Strain into a chilled coupé or martini glass. For an extra smooth texture, double strain through a fine mesh strainer.

4. Garnish with a light dusting of nutmeg or a twist of lemon zest.
