Limoncello Amaretto Sour Recipe
To make a Amaretto Sour, you’ll need:
- Coupé or martini glass (chilled)
- Cocktail shaker
- Jigger (for measuring)
- Strainer
- Ice cubes
- Fine mesh strainer (optional, for an extra smooth texture)
Ingredients:
- 40ml amaretto
- 25ml Iannetelli's limoncello
- 20ml fresh lemon juice
- 10ml simple syrup (adjust to taste)
- 1 egg white (or aquafaba for a vegan version)
- Ice cubes
- Lemon twist and cherry (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Add lemon juice, simple syrup, limoncello, amaretto, and egg white to a cocktail shaker.
2. Dry shake (without ice) for about 10 seconds to create a frothy texture.
3. Add ice and shake again for another 15 seconds until well chilled.
4. Strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice. For an extra smooth texture, double strain through a fine mesh strainer.
5. Garnish with a lemon twist and a cherry.
